Donald Cowling
Chief Executive Officer

Donald Cowling is the Chief Executive Officer of eHealthCompass, setting the company’s overarching vision and guiding efforts to make digital health solutions accessible to everyone who wants them. Mr. Cowling brings extensive experience in Digital Health, having seen the value of these technologies when they first started emerging and having led multiple technology adoption efforts across international markets. From the beginning of his career to his more recent executive roles, Mr. Cowling has always been a champion for the end user. Even in his role as the European President of Merck KgA, Mr. Cowling made sure to make time to listen to the patients he served and the healthcare providers he supported and respond to their needs.

Mr. Cowling holds a BSC in Biochemistry from University of East Anglia, and an MBA from a distributed program that spanned international univesrities including the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the Kellogg Institute at Northwestern, the Chinese Uniersity of Hong Kong, and INSEAD.

James Cowling, MD
Chief Technical Officer

Dr James Cowling is a practicing Primary Care Physician, medical educator and early adopter of digital health.

He has extensive real-world experience of healthcare innovation at patient, provider and strategic levels having designed and delivered technology enabled care pathways for multiple NHS providers across several clinical domains.

James has delivered undergraduate and postgraduate medical education focussing on the digital health curriculum across the Health Education East Midlands and Health Education North deaneries.

Ekta Elston, MD
Chief Medical Officer

Dr Elston medical diretor of North East Lincolnshire CCG. and a front line Primary care physician at The Roxton Practice.

She has a particular interest in education and workforce development, and is also a Training Program Director for The GP Training Scheme in Northern Lincolnshire.

Ekta brings experience in working in different health care settings, including Africa and Australia, and is passionate about the NHS and ensuring it provides high quality sustainable care to patients.

Lynda Hooper
Digital Patient Experience Officer

Lynda brings over 25 years of executive experience with top health systems in California and Australia, where she focused on Patient Safety and Quality. Lynda’s approach is to work with community-wide stakeholders to ensure vulnerable patients have a safety net, and are cared for as “whole people,” an approach that encompasses mental, physical and behavioral aspects of care. Lynda has long been a proponent of digital technologies to support care delivery and has deep experience implementing appropriate and effective technology-based solutions that drive better care.

Lynda is headquartered in Northern California. She holds a BS in Nursing and an MBA. She is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) from the National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQ), and a Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA) from the American Society for Quality (ASQ). .

Lori Jennings
Commercial Officer

Lori brings 25 years of executive level Go-to-Market, Business Development and Sales & Marketing experience – 15 of them in the Digital Health sector – to eHealthCompass, where she is responsible for defining and executing the company’s commercial strategy. In addition to roles at large companies such as J&J, Baxter and Guidant, Lori has helped multiple start-ups grow from inception to successful exits. Lori is based in Northern California, where Silicon Valley is largely viewed as the world’s epicenter of Digital Health and Technology-based businesses.

Lori holds BAs in Political Science and Pre-Law from Michigan State University, and has completed an Executive Leadership Development Program at the University of Michigan.

Peter Melton, MD
Chief Strategy Officer

Dr Peter Melton is a practicing Primary Care Physician and senior partner at the Roxton Practice. He has been a partner for over 25 years after starting his training at the Roxton Practice and over that time has maintained active leadership at practice, local, region and national levels.

Peter established the local GP Out of Hours Co-Operative, Locality Commissioning Pilot, Primary Care Group, Primary Care Trust, Care Trust Plus and Clinical Commissioning Group over that 25 year period. He has been the Accountable Officer for the local NHS over the last 9 years serving a population of 170,000 patients.

Peter is the SRO for the Humber region leading the development and implementation of new transformed models of care in the out of hospital setting.

He has undertaken many other regional and national roles including co-chairing the national NHS Commissioning Assembly over several years. He has been listed on several occasions within both the top 100 most influential leaders and top 100 most influential clinical leaders within the NHS nationally.

Peter continues to give advice to senior national and regional NHS managers, civil servants, politicians and their political advisors including the Prime Minister and his Cabinet at number 10 policy unit.
